How do I create a Beyond Clean Maids Account?

When you book service an account is automatically created for you.  Simply set up your account, choose your password, and you’re ready to go. Alternatively you can create and log into your account at this link.

Do you service my area?

If you’re within the Austin Metro area, absolutely.  If we can reach your home within an hour’s drive time of Downtown  Austin, you’re in like Flynn!  : -).

What is included in a standard cleaning?

Standard cleaning takes into account everything that involves cleaning a home or apartment. Cleaning/vacuuming floors, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dusting, etc.  We do offer extra services like deep cleaning, move in/out cleaning, cleaning inside the fridge and inside the oven, and those can be selected on the booking form when you select service.

How much will it cost?

We price based on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in the home. Select the number and the price is shown instantly on the website. We also offer extra services like move in/out cleaning, cleaning inside fridge, oven, cabinets, etc. for an additional price that can be added to the clean in the booking page. Prices for the extras are easily visible during booking and if chosen instantly update the service cost. With us you only pay for what you need, no hidden costs or unwelcome surprises(we hate them too).

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies, products and equipment?

We bring our own Eco-friendly, biodegradable & non-toxic supplies but please let us know if you have any special requests and we would be happy to accommodate you if possible. Please note that we don’t bring abrasive cleaning solutions like Comet or AJAX, but if you have them and want us to use them we will. We use a non-toxic EPA-registered disinfectant but if you would prefer we use bleach please let us know so we can plan for this.  Alternatively, we can use your own products if you would prefer.

Can I request special tasks or extras?

Sure thing. Simply respond to your confirmation email or log into your account and add any comments you would like to be applied to your service.

What if I only want common areas cleaned?

Make sure to register your apartment as a one bedroom and select the correct amount of bathrooms you want cleaned. Don’t forget to make a note under “COMMENTS/REQUESTS” that you only want common areas cleaned. You’ll be charged a reduced rate.

What if you stay extra long to finish the job?

Unlike other services, Beyond Clean Maids has a service quote, not a time quote. This means that the cleaners will stay as long as they need to complete the clean at no additional cost.

Do I have to be home while you clean?

You do not have to be home for your clean as long as your cleaner has proper directions for entering and exiting your home. Please input these instructions when booking your appointment.

What if I’m not there to let the cleaning person in?

That’s okay! Just leave us detailed entry instructions when you schedule your appointment online so we know how to gain access to your home. Your home will be locked when the cleaner leaves.

Will the same cleaner or maid show up for all my appointments?

If you’re happy with your cleaner you had, we’re happy to send them to all of your appointments schedule permitting. You just have to contact us to let us know and we’ll make it happen! Plus, if you book a subscription, we’ll do our very best to send you the same requested cleaner every time!

Do you clean offices and other commercial spaces?

Yes. Beyond Clean Maids can handle any job no matter how big or small. We have special equipment and cleaners for these jobs. You can get a quote online, through chat, call us at (512) 410-5200, or email [email protected].

How do I change my address?

Log into your account and update your address in your upcoming booking. Alternatively you can can give us a call and we will update your address for you.

How do I change my credit card?

Log into your account here and update your card on file.  Your new card will automatically be noted as your default card.

How do I book my first appointment?

Simply go to our booking form and schedule your appointment online. Alternatively you can give us a call if there are any issues at all.

How do I send a Beyond Clean Maids Gift Card?

You can send a gift card to anyone with an email address by following this link.

How can I view my Beyond Clean Maids Gift Cards?

Log into your account here and you will see any outstanding gift cards and respective balances.

Can I apply a discount code to an existing appointment?

You can apply a discount code to a future appointment by logging into your account. You can not apply your coupon to past appointments that are already completed.

Why is the discount code not working?

Some discounts are for first time customers only and some are for recurring customers only. In addition, some discounts are only one-time, and will not work for future service. There might be a couple reasons why a specific discount code no longer works. Please get in touch if you have any questions.

I have a discount code and would like to redeem it, what should I do?

In most cases you can enter your discount code directly on the booking form. If you have any issues, please contact us and let us know.

What is the two hour window?

Please note that if your time is a range that this is our arrival window to deal with the unpredictability of traffic, parking, and other surprises. Please note that we do allow a two hour window for our 8:00 AM time slot.

What if I just had renovation work done?

We provide a customized post-construction clean for these types of situations. Please contact us at (512) 410-5200 or email [email protected] to coordinate this and receive pricing information.

Do I get a discount if I’m a frequent customer?

Yes, folks who sign up for a subscription are entitled to significant discounts. For weekly service we have a 20% discount, for bi-weekly service we have a 15% discount, and service every four weeks gets a 10% discount.

When does my card get charged?

We pre-authorize the credit card for the amount of service on the morning of the scheduled date. If the pre-authorization is successful we complete the service at the scheduled time and after the cleaning is completed the card is charged for the pre-authorized amount.  If the card doesn’t work, we contact the client to update it. If we do not get an updated card, we cancel the job.

What if I want a cleaner by the hour?

Our minimum appointment is a 2 hour appointment. If you would like to forego our standard pricing and hire an HOURLY cleaner, we can provide this at a cost of $65/hour for a two person cleaning team if you email [email protected] to coordinate the details.

What’s your cancellation policy?

You are free to cancel your service at any time, however, we have a $50 SAME DAY CANCELLATION FEE which is charged if you cancel after 5 PM on the evening prior to your scheduled appointment.

Do I have to leave a tip?

Tips are not required but are certainly appreciated by our cleaners.

Trust & Safety

Can I trust my cleaning professional?

Absolutely. All of our folks are highly trained, background and reference checked, as well as insured & bonded. Only about 10% of the people that apply end up working as a Beyond Clean Maids certified cleaner.  They go through a 7 step training program designed to ensure consistent top quality service and the utmost professionalism.

What happens if something goes wrong during my appointment?

If something goes wrong we’re here to make it right. Please let us know right away and we’ll be there to take care of it.  That’s our promise to you!

Is my billing information kept safe and secure?

We have three levels of security in place. First off our website is protected by a SSL(Secure Sockets Layer) certificate. Secondly our booking form has it’s own layer of 256 bit security.  Third, credit card transactions are processed by Stripe and is layered on their own 256 security protocol. In addition, no credit card numbers are stored in our system (only a token that allows us to charge the card).  Rest assured we take security very very seriously.

Do the cleaning professionals go through a background check?

Yes they do.  We run a detailed nationwide background check on all applicants as the last step in our pre-screening process.

What is your 200% Happiness Guarantee policy?

If you’re not content with your cleaning, we will come out and re-clean (within a 7 day window). If you still don’t think we did a good enough job to recommend us to your friends, we’ll refund your money.

What is your refund policy?

If something is not done to your expectations, please let us know. We’ll send a team out to make it right (within a 7 day window). If after our re-clean is completed and you’re still not happy with service, we offer a full refund.

Are you insured and bonded?

Yes, we are insured and bonded. We understand that it is a privilege to be in your home, and we are always careful. In the unlikely event that an object is damaged, please notify us within 24 hours.

Is Beyond Clean Maids pet safe?

All the products we use are certified non-toxic, bio-degradable and  safe for pets & children. We love animals, but they don’t always love us. If you think your pet may become overly anxious while we are there, please make temporary arrangements while we are in your home. You can leave detailed pet instructions during the online scheduling process.

Do you use cleaning products that are safe for all surfaces?

All of our cleaners and maids are trained to use products that are safe for all surfaces, including: stainless steel, tiles, glass, wood, etc.

Do you clean during or after business hours?

We clean during both. Our staff is able to clean night and day, depending on your preference. Many customers give our cleaners a key for after-hours cleaning, so we can clean without disrupting your work. Our staff are insured and bonded and Beyond Clean Maids will coordinate all necessary documentation with your building manager.

Does Beyond Clean Maids bring its own supplies & equipment?

Yes, all of our cleaners come equipped with a kit full of cleaning supplies & equipment to bring on site. If you select ongoing service, we also provide heavy equipment such as vacuums, mops, dry mops, and squeegees.

Is there manager oversight?

Absolutely. We pride ourselves on our quality control. Our Quality Control Manager typically joins the cleaners on their first clean, and follows up periodically, by email and in person, to make sure we consistently do a great job!
